Introducing a new DrupalCon event for 2010 - Drupal It Yourself! - A Community Unconference.
We invite DrupalCon attendees to connect with participants from the larger tech community, members of other open source projects, and each other for a day of unconference-style presentations and conversations. This event will be free and open to all conference attendees PLUS non-attendees. Everyone with something to share is welcome to participate.

Handbook style guide
A style guide provides consistency throughout the handbooks, and offers guidelines for individual page structure, formatting, and markup, as well as for language usage, spelling, and capitalization.
All page submissions and edits must follow these guidelines. Updates to the handbooks submitted to the moderation queue will not be published until they conform to the Drupal style.

Editing documentation embedded into Drupal
Besides the Handbook on drupal.org, there is also some Drupal documentation that is embedded in the Drupal source code, and visible from the administration pages of a Drupal site. This includes help pages for modules, help text displayed at the top of administration pages, and descriptive text within administration pages (e.g. help text for a setting field).
Because embedded documentation is part of the Drupal source code, the process for helping out with writing and editing this embedded documentation is slightly more complex than for editing pages on drupal.org. Here are some ways to help out:
